This house had mold and rotting logs; someone had used Bondo on this home. I was in very bad shape. We are doing what is called "defacing" on a log home. We do this with a chain saw, cutting little pieces off. The reason we do this is because the surface is the only rotten part or in this case, Bondo was used to fix the home. This process is very time-consuming.
Once all the bad wood is removed we reface the logs.
